AT Els Pins school we try to be eco-friendly and we have agreed on an Eco-code.
There is one at each classroom and everybody, children and teachers, have to think about it.
Here it goes...

Encourage walking or cycling to school.
Close the windows when the heating is on.
Only use what you need.

Find the right bin for everything.
Reduce, re-use, repair and recycle.
If possible, use public transports.
Electrical applicance should be switch off after use.
Never leave the water running. Turn the taps off.
Don't waste paper:use it on both sides.
Look after plants, flowers and trees.
You can make a difference: every little helps!

Our Enviroment council

We have had the first meeting of the new schoolyear. We discussed
1 our recyclingstations
2 how we can reduce the amount of food that we through away every day in
our lunchrestaurant
3 where to put new information about enviromental issues
4 if we should join IKEA´s recycling competition about candles
